Meteorology and Astronomy
Meteorology and Astronomy is designed for students who want to gain an in-depth knowledge of their world and the physical environment around them. Topics of study will include: Astronomy, our place in the solar system, Meteorology (weather events), and ocean processes. Upon completion of the course students will have learned about Earth’s dynamic internal and external processes related to geologic time, the hydrologic cycle, ocean water and life, composition and structure of the atmosphere, clouds and precipitation, air pressure and wind, weather patterns, severe storms, origins of Astronomy, the solar system, the Sun, and galaxies.
